Part 2 Architectural Assistant
Waldo Works is an award winning design practise working in the residential, retail and hotel sectors in London, UK and internationally. We are principally a practice that works in architectural interiors and also have a dedicated interior design team.We are seeking a part 2 architectural designer to be the principal architectural assistant to the director of the company. The applicant would be required to work across many different projects. The position would include designing in both traditional and contemporary buildings, and the applicant should have a strong interest in both. The applicant would assist on creating presentations, information schedules and highly detailed drawing packages for exacting clients.
Requirements:
Part 2 architectural graduate or equivalent.
Perfect written and spoken English
Strong interest in Interior Architecture and Design
Excellent CAD skills in Vectorworks or similar
Good visualisation skills including Sketching and SketchUp
Client presentation assisting skills
Organisational skills needed for filing, minuting, scheduling and assembling of information packages.
Personable, positive and pro active
Team orientated with good communication skills
Able to switch between projects and tasks effectively
